MY TESTIMONY

Jesus Christ is my brother, my Savior, and my perfect example.  He is the perfect example of a missionary.  In no way, shape, or form am I trying to compare myself to Christ our Savior, but one thing that I have come to realize is that when you read in the scriptures not everyone accepted Christ. It makes me feel better when I get rejected, yelled at, or just ignored, because Christ taught and went through things that we would not even be able to imagine going through.

Christ has all the attributes that we all strive to obtain, but what is so wonderful is that we can't reach those attributes like he can.  It is also wonderful that even when we mess up, the atonement gives us the ability to be forgiven.  Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, Him being crucified, and then overcoming death is the reason we are here and are able to live our lives and be forgiven.  His attributes can be found all over in the scriptures, and one thing I love is that we don't have our Heavenly Father and Christ shown as dictators.  They try so hard to make life easy for us and want us so badly to return with them again, and I am really seeing so many blessings in my life from being on my mission than I did before.

I love this Gospel, and looking at the big picture of life, spending two years out here is so little of time and is so little of effort compared to everything Christ had to do for us.  I love Christ, His Gospel, the family my Father in Heaven sent to me and this church. I know it is true, and I love being able to spend time with the people of Riverside, California and being able to share my testimony of this truth with them.

I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN.
